Brian Heder is the old guard of Leonida Keys smuggling. Rockstar describes him as a classic drug runner from the golden age of the trade, and he has been around long enough to stop doing the risky parts himself. Other people handle the dirty work now, while Brian runs things from his boat yard.
Confirmed details
- Veteran drug runner based in the Leonida Keys.
- Still moves product through his boat yard, together with his third wife, Lori.
- Lets Jason Duval live rent-free at one of his properties.
- The price: Jason helps with local shakedowns and drops by for Lori’s sangria once in a while.
- Cal Hampton is described by Rockstar as a fellow associate of Brian’s.
Beach bum on the outside
Rockstar sums him up in one line: he looks like a Leonida beach bum but moves like a great white shark. That contrast is the whole character. His profile opens with Brian praising a Mudslide at sunset, and the relaxed routine sits on top of a business that runs on intimidation. In another official quote he brags that he once hauled so much grass in a plane that he could have made the state of Leonida levitate, which tells you how far back his career goes.
Connection to Jason
Jason’s own profile says that after the Army he ended up in the Keys working for local drug runners. Brian is the clearest face of that world. The free housing is not charity, because the rent is paid in shakedowns. That makes Brian both Jason’s landlord and his boss, the kind of arrangement Jason starts to rethink once Lucia Caminos enters his life.
What remains unconfirmed
Four official screenshots and Brian’s profile confirm Lori, the boat yard, and the property arrangement. Rockstar has not named the property, explained whether it functions as a permanent safehouse, or confirmed that Brian’s smuggling work becomes an open-ended activity.
