Vice City returns as the largest urban setting shown for GTA 6. Rockstar’s official material presents a modern coastal city shaped by nightlife, tourism, luxury towers, beaches and a constant stream of social media spectacle.
What is confirmed
- Located in the fictional state of Leonida.
- Features dense downtown districts, beaches and nightlife.
- Home to businesses connected with Boobie Ike and Only Raw Records.
- Serves as a central location in Jason and Lucia’s story.
Urban identity
Modern Vice City is shown as more than a remake of the 1980s setting. The official screenshots combine high-rise construction, dense nightlife, beaches, ports, causeways, social-media spectacle, and neighborhoods far from the tourist strip. That range supports a city with different economic and cultural districts rather than one continuous neon waterfront.
Evidence and limits
Rockstar has released nine named Vice City screenshots, more than for any other highlighted region. They confirm the city’s visual breadth and several supporting-character businesses. District names, the complete street layout, enterable-building count, and the exact boundary between Vice City and neighboring regions have not been published.
