Vice City is the heart of GTA 6, and Rockstar sets the tone with two lines: “Vice City, USA. The darkest side of the sunniest place in America” and “We’re a long way from the ’80s, but Vice City is still the sun and fun capital of America.” It is the modern version of the city fans first met in 2002, rebuilt as a place of neon nightlife, beaches, luxury towers and social media spectacle.

Much of what Rockstar has shown about Vice City revolves around money and fame. Boobie turned street money into real estate, a club and a studio. Dre’Quan has signed Real Dimez and set his sights on the Vice City scene. Viral hooks and club hits are part of how people climb here, which makes the city feel current rather than a nostalgia trip.
Evidence and limits
Rockstar’s screenshot page now lists twelve Vice City images, more than any other region. They confirm the city’s visual range and several supporting-character businesses. District names beyond the few mentioned above, the full street layout, the number of enterable buildings and the exact border with neighboring regions have not been published.
