The Kortz Center Heist launched in GTA Online on July 14, 2026. To host it, you need a Mansion with the new Art Studio expansion. Enter the Art Studio for the introduction, then use its planning board to begin the operation.

The Art Studio’s observed base price is GTA$4,700,000, although eligible Fine Art Collector and GTA+ discounts can lower the amount shown on your account.

How to start the Kortz Center Heist

1. Own a Mansion

The Art Studio is an expansion for the Mansion properties introduced before this update. If you do not own a Mansion, you cannot install the Studio or host the job yourself.

You do not need to buy a second Mansion if you already own one. The expansion can be added to an existing property.

2. Open Prix Luxury Real Estate

Use the in-game phone:

1. Open Internet.
2. Go to Money and Services.
3. Select Prix Luxury Real Estate.
4. Choose your existing Mansion, or select a Mansion if you are buying one.
5. Open Customize and then Additional Rooms.
6. Add the Art Studio and confirm the purchase.

3. Enter the Art Studio

Return to the Mansion and choose the Art Studio from the entrance menu. The first visit triggers an introduction with Mr. Faber and his fixer, Raf De Angelis.

After the scene, the planning board becomes available. It shows your setup list, current painting target, and reward information for the active job.

4. Begin the scope-out

Follow the board’s first setup and travel to the Kortz Center. The heist is built around learning the building, preparing a route and loadout, and replacing stolen works with forgeries created in the Studio.

Do the first run as reconnaissance. Launch-day speed routes often trade reliable information for a few saved minutes.

How much does the Art Studio cost?

The base price reported from the live update is GTA$4,700,000.

Your displayed price may be lower:

• Fine Art Collector Elitist status can apply a GTA$1,000,000 discount.
• GTA+ members may receive an additional GTA$1,000,000 discount.
• Eligible discounts can stack, according to launch-day player and guide reports.

Check the final confirmation screen before buying. A screenshot showing GTA$3.7 million or GTA$2.7 million does not necessarily contradict the base price. It may include one or two account-specific discounts.

The larger cost is the Mansion itself if you do not already own one. That makes joining another host the sensible first look for players who are not ready to spend more than GTA$10 million on property and expansion access.

Can you play the Kortz Center Heist solo?

Yes. Rockstar designed the heist for solo play or a team of up to four players total.

Hosting and joining are different. The host needs the Mansion and Art Studio. Invited crew members can take part without buying the host’s property setup, though their cut and access to planning decisions depend on the session.

Solo is useful for learning the route without coordinating a crew. A group can cover more space and may collect optional value faster, but no launch-day evidence supports declaring one crew size universally best.

How the Art Studio changes the heist

The Studio is more than a purchase gate. It develops as you prepare:

• a counterfeiter creates replicas to replace target paintings
• weapons and technology accumulate for the finale
• the planning board tracks setups and the active target
• stolen art can become part of the Mansion display loop

Rockstar has also built replay variation around rotating paintings. The announcement says three new paintings become available each week, giving the heist a reason to return beyond a single first-clear payout.

What is the Kortz Center Heist payout?

There was no official, complete payout table available at our July 14 research cutoff. Early screenshots and individual runs can differ because of target, crew split, optional loot, damage, bonuses, or account eligibility.

For that reason, this guide does not publish an “exact maximum” assembled from one run.

Before treating a number as stable, verify:

1. the primary painting
2. the number of players
3. the host’s cut
4. optional targets collected
5. first-time or weekly bonuses
6. fees and damage deductions

What should you buy before starting?

Buy only the hard requirement first: the Art Studio. Do not fill a shopping cart with new vehicles because a launch post calls them “essential.”

Run the scope-out, read the setup board, and see which tools the game supplies. The update is designed to build a custom loadout inside the Studio as preparation progresses.

If your GTA$ balance is limited, join a friend’s finale before committing to a Mansion. A new property should earn its place in your account beyond one evening of novelty.
