Use this structure so another member can verify the claim quickly:
- Label: [CONFIRMED], [REPORT], [RUMOR] or [CORRECTION]
- Claim: one precise sentence
- Original source: direct URL, publisher and publication date
- What the source proves: quote or paraphrase only the relevant part
- What remains unknown: the limit of the evidence
- Your conclusion: confirmed, plausible, unsupported, misleading or false
Do not use a thumbnail, AI summary or another aggregator as proof when the original page is available. Keep titles factual rather than sensational. Staff may correct the label, merge duplicates or add context without treating a good-faith mistake as misconduct.
